The negotiations with the alien species K'gor is, to put it delicately, an epic failure.

Michel James is an unimportant assistant to the force running the negotiations, ostensibly a diplomat but in practicality a (damn good) barista. He gets the coffee, watches the failures pile up, and tries not to worry too much about the fate of mankind.

Sometimes, though, his worries piles up. And sometimes he comes up with daring schemes at four in the morning when he wakes up from yet another nightmare about the K'gor annihilating earth. As one does.

And sometimes he actually sets out to put those shemes in motions.

That's all to say, humanity is pretty much doomed so Michel is going in guns blazes. To sedude the K'gor head diplomat, of course.

In his opinion, it's a pretty flawless plan.
